Kestrel Investment Partners (Kestrel) has bolstered its investment management team with the appointment of Dan McCausland as its Chief Operating Officer. 

Dan brings with him a wealth of experience to the boutique asset manager having joined from Aspect Capital, a leading CTA manager, where he was Head of Client Services and Marketing. During his 10 years at Aspect assets under management at the company grew from $1billion to $6billion. His responsibilities encompassed new funds, including the successful launch of a UCITS product, managed accounts, structured products, and the set up of Hong Kong and Swiss subsidiaries. Prior to this Dan was Chief Operating Officer at Schoolsnet, a dot.com education company.
