Euroclear and BNP Paribas Partner to Offer Clients Larger Pool of Collateral

Euroclear Bank and BNP Paribas Securities Services have made an agreement that will enable their mutual clients to access a larger pool of collateral for triparty transactions. Clients will be able to use fixed-income and equity assets held with BNP Paribas Securities Services as collateral in triparty managed transactions at Euroclear Bank.

Pilot Platform Launched for Cross-border Investment and Settlement of Debt Securities

French Arrangement "Heralds a New Era for Euro-zone Collateral Management Efficiency"

Euroclear France's new triparty collateral management service, will collaborate with Banque de France to collateralise exposures arising from domestic credit operations conducted by the French central bank. Chief Executive Officer of Euroclear France, Belgium and Nederland, Valérie Urbain, said that the new arrangement "heralds a new era for euro-zone collateral management efficiency, particularly for central banks and institutions that rely on such credit".
